Smart Airway Baby is a realistic training model for paediatric airway management in the Smart Airway® Range. Designed using CT DICOM data, it features sensors that measure key metrics such as head position and ventilation rates, providing real-time feedback through the Smart Airway App.

Delivers structured educational content, video tutorials (background, method, complications and “how-to” procedure videos) and a Certificate of Training, which can be exported or sent via email to the user.
03Instructor-Led Assessment
Instructors can customise scenarios and criteria by learner level, includes pre-theory knowledge checks, and generates debrief video plus quantitative and instructor feedback, concluding with a certificate of completion and result summary.

The AirSim® airway has been designed using CT DICOM data from real patients, to provide trainees with a lifelike intubation training solution. The internal airway is anatomically accurate and will guarantee 80,000+ intubation cycles when used correctly.
Learners will gain proficiency in the below procedures:
• Direct and video laryngoscopy
• Endotracheal intubation
• Nasotracheal intubation
• Supraglottic device insertion
• Bag valve mask (BVM) ventilation
• Fibre optic intubation & examination
• Single lung isolation techniques
In conjunction with the Smart Airway app, learners will also gain knowledge in:

We recommend TruCorp’s lubrication for best practice, but alternatives can be used provided they are water-soluble lubricants. Please do not use silicone-based products as they will degrade the materials.
No, this training manikin is delivered ready to use so you can begin training straight away! Simply, power up the manikin and connect to the Smart Airway app. Generously spray the oral/nasal passages and equipment with the lubrication provided.
• 3.5-4.0 mm ID for oral intubation
• Size 1 for supraglottic devices
• Size 1 for video-laryngoscopy
Yes, if successfully intubated you will see a visible chest rise. If the student has failed to intubate, the app will highlight incorrect intubation i.e the tube has been inserted into the stomach.
The tongue can be inflated to simulate tongue edema. Attach a syringe to the connector located on the base of the manikin and insert approx. 20ml of air.
The Smart Airway Baby manikin comes with a 1-year warranty. Warranty begins from date of delivery.
Please contact us and provide the serial number (found under the manikin) and an image/video of the issue. If it meets the warranty conditions TruCorp will provide the required parts free of charge. If the warranty has expired, our sales team will provide a quote. The Smart Airway range must be returned to TruCorp for repair due to the complexity of the inner workings.
Please store the manikin in clean, dry conditions away from heat and direct sunlight. Avoid contact with metals, solvents, oils or greases and strong detergents. When the product is not in use please store in the black carrier case provided.
Generously spray alcohol spray or gel (minimum 75% alcohol) and wipe off. Repeat 3-4 times to fully disinfect the product. This can be done on the silicone skin and the latex airway.
Avoid submerging the unit or cleaning the airway with water as this could damage the internal electronic components. In turn, this would void your warranty.
Please do not use any of the following when cleaning the AirSim® product range:
• Germicides, disinfectants, or chemical agents such as glutaraldehyde (e.g. Cidex®)
• Ethylene oxide, phenol-based cleaners, or iodine-containing cleaners
Smart Airway is available on Mac App Store (Apple Silicon Mac only) & iPad App Store (not available on Apple iPhone App) and Google Play Store for Android tablets, (not available on Android phones).
